About King's Cormorants
The club was founded over 10
years ago. It is a small, friendly club. Our aim is to provide coaching
for all who wish to improve their strokes, technique or speed.
The club has three levels of
membership
1.Full training
members of the club can attend three sessions a week, on Mondays and
Wednesdays from 9 to 10 pm and on Sundays from 9 to 10 am. As there are
only four lanes we restrict full membership to 28 to avoid overcrowding.
There are currently no vacancies for full or silver membership, but we can accept
non-training members.
2.Silver
membership is for people who would like to train with the club at the
Wednesday and Sunday sessions only.
3.Non-training members - we
do accept a limited number of swimmers who live in the London Surrey
region, who wish to have a club affiliation but are unable to train with
us regularly.

Why swim?
Swimming is an
activity which provides a full body workout. It benefits the upper body,
mid-section and legs. It is a good way to improve strength, stamina
and cardiovascular fitness. Since water supports the body swimming, unlike
running or weights, it is a low impact sport reducing the likelihood of
injuries. Training
schedules are available to download on our
training page
